First day in my new shoes. I had to stop twice during my first half mile to adjust the laces (I had them too tight), this killed my time during that split. This was all in the gym so there was a little break between exercises.
First time trying a Duathlon. I felt really good here, especially the last half mile or so. I had a bit of reserve and really hit it hard for that extra .2 miles.
I added the extra .2 miles in preparation for Pat's Run in less than 2 weeks.
